The 110 Needs Help with New Uniforms

The Marching 110 has touched us all.
Their songs. Their performances. Their videos.
Now, they need our help …

Did you know?
The band is currently wearing uniforms purchased in 1998? In this current set of uniforms, members of the Marching 110 have appeared in:

  • 79 OHIO Football Home Games
  • 15 OHIO Football Away Games
  • 16 NFL Games
  • 4 College Football Bowl Games
  • 3 MAC Football Championship Games
  • 2 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parades
  • 2 Viral Videos (Party Rock Anthem and Gangnam Style)
  • The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade
  • NBC's Deal or No Deal

With your support, we will raise $175,000 for the Marching 110 Uniform Fund. This money will go directly to purchasing new uniforms for the 2013 season.

How bad are the current uniforms?
The uniforms, which have now been worn over 300 times and dry-cleaned over 50, are showing serious signs of aging and need of repair. Many of the jackets and capes, bright white in 1998, are off-white in appearance, with many appearing almost yellow in color. Pants have been split, hemmed, and re-hemmed numerous times. Some band members even have to be sewn in/stitched out of their uniform because no other alternatives exist for them.

With your help, we can ensure that each member of the Marching 110 can proudly wear a uniform that matches the band’s style and reputation. It’s time we Stand Up and Cheer, for them.
